STPM

is finally over...

The final step in the STPM Exam saga is over, and a new phase begins.

With the applications to Universities, the Waiting With Bated Breath For The Replies and stuff.

I just walked out of school for the last time just now(unless I need to go back there for forms or whatevers).

School was fun.. Lots of memories, lots of things learnt. Lots of skills learnt. Lots of lessons learnt.

The goodbyes to everyone as we all head out in different directions.

Ng Wei Loong : Pls return my CDs for freak's sake. I miss the music.

This blog has been kinda dead.

*looks around.*

*crickets chirping.*

*dust in every corner, dead leaves on the ground, dead flies all around.*

So this will be my last post here. ahaha... My blog is still open, though. No worries.

I wish all of you(who might stumble across this old dusty blog) the best in all, and have a good life.

Finally,

Story time!

And the old general told his son, "leave this horrid place and don't look back. The is no point in serving arrogant fools who knows nothing about the country, who does not even care whether the people are dying or having enough food on the table! All they know is that their needs comes first before anything."

But the young man chose to ignore his fathers words, wanting to be the next general so much...Till he was blinded by what was in front of him.

The old man told him again, "I have conquered many lands, far and wide for them. Brought back victories by the dozen. Given them all they have now but look at how they treat this old bag of bones? Thrown aside because he can no longer ride his horse."

The general's son again chose to ignore his words of wisdom, thinking about his future of fame and glory.

Looking into his beloved son's eyes, he knows that he can no longer persuade him from taking the path he once took. Sighing with regret, the old general turns and walks away, praying hard for his son.

Two winters have come and gone, the old general lays on his bed, awaiting death to come and give him a visit. Though, he is not the only one waiting to pass on.

It seems the whole country was on the brink of collapse, surrounded by enemies who were once called friends. How did this day come you ask?

Its obvious the people on top has angered hearts around. And the young general has to face the wrath of former allies, with only his sword and shield for he has sworn an oath of loyalty to these filthy people known as kings.

Once the southern wind starts to blow, and the sounds of battle drums are heard, the young general knows his time is coming up. He thinks back about his fathers words, and regrets his actions. But all is lost as a sea of angry rebels approaches.

As this young general prepares to face his doom, the old general lying on his bed gets up and leaves his home for he knows something is terribly wrong with the abnormally cold wind and sweat he is feeling.

The young general prepares to fight the horde, knowing he had little chance to overcome this obstacle.

The first enemy he faces, his former lieutenant. His eyes filled with hatred, but now gone as the general struck out and ended his life, feeling pain as the man he just killed once drank from the same cup as he did.

And as the drums beat louder and faster, the general took so many lives of people he once knew and love that he could no longer wield his sword. At this moment of countless regret, an arrow pierced through the general's armor leaving him wounded. Screaming with agony and tears filled his eyes, he knew his moment was up in a matter of minutes.

Another arrow shot through the general's leg, crushing the bones inside. As the young general falls to his feet, he saw from a distance, his fathers image, slowly approaching him. His vision gets blur, he knows he is done for.

As the old general carries his lifeless son, sobbing uncontrollably, he too falls, for his time has come. Such regrets he carries...

I hate people who don't know anything but act and talk like they know everything. Thank you very much!!=)

Compliments and sarcasm which comes along with it...

Compliments are one of the nicest things to hear.

Who can possibly deny such a thing when someone comes up to you and said,"You were really good back there".It sort of gives you a temporary boost when you were just feeling down or bad about yourself.

However,it does not come easy from anyone...

Though I must agree that there are certain people who showers others with compliments daily. That of course,in my humble opinion is just sucking up...

Fine line between these two...Know which is appropriate...

Bahhh, but I don't normally say such things to people. You want it,you earn it...

But,I love to hear them no matter what...I mean, who would not like that??heh...xD

And I think sarcasm has taken over this generation.I am not sure how it happened, but it certainly did.

Quoted from somewhere,"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit"

Can't agree more to that since everyone is getting so sarcastic nowadays...Can't even have a proper conversation without involving sarcasm...It was funny at the beginning, but nowadays its becoming such a norm that its frustrating...

And you can't say anything else after that cause its sarcasm...You can't actually hit someone because he was becoming sarcastic...So you counter it by being more sarcastic...and the cycle continues, you get the drift...

So sometimes,a proper and genuine compliment becomes associated with sarcasm...which in turn, turns the compliment into the opposite...

And you can't explain further cause it will only complicate things further...

See??A true poison to society...

So,sometimes when I am truly nice(not often),I am very nice...though most of the time I am just messing around...hahahha

Sometimes sarcasm comes around
And it knocks you down
Just get back up
When it knocks you down

Life And All The Regrets That Comes along...

As a person who have lived for practically 18 years,a few months,a few days and so on and so forth...I have come to realized that I felt regret one too many times...To have regretted is a normal thing in life I supposed...seeing that I am not the only one experiencing it...I am very sure that all who is reading this would have regretted on a thing or two in your own respective life...

Maybe it was the dress you should have bought...
or the party that you should have attended...
or the movie that you should not had watched...
or the guy you should have talked too in school...
or the teacher you should have said a million thanks too when you got your results...

or more serious things like

the last conversation you would have with a loved one...
the last hug that you can have with your daddy...
the last grin on your grandma's face...
the last time you can hear your brother's voice...

Things like this often occur because we being human are ignorant...
We never know what we got till it is gone...
We never know how important something or someone is till they are no longer in our life...

But sometimes,we feel regret for trivial matters...For all the times that we have lived,we spend time looking back in the past...Thinking about the possibilities, the "what if" or the "what could have been" when we know deep down inside,we can never have the chance to know what would have really happened...

But some of us prefer to cling on to the past, because we are not happy with our choices then and how we ended up here today...Its obvious that what is happening around us are a matter of choices we made before...Therefore,we feel regret to have took the road that lead us here...When at the first place,it was our own choice that lead us to where we are...There is no such thing as a "No choice situation"...

Its almost impossible to ask someone to not regret...because it comes with our nature of being normal people...but what we can do is to not regret about something so much because regrets are for cowards who dare not face the future...they are the ones who dare not see what lies ahead...

Sometimes,we end up regretting so much, reliving the past and present that could never have been that we lose track of reality...we end up living in our own dream, shadowed by our regrets...where we slowly lose our true self to our own doing...

Therefore, its only right to sum this up by saying,

be wise when making a decision, think through all the possible choices before making one...
and
when the decision has been made, live it without any regrets for it was your choice...

In other words...

have some balls to face your own actions...

and enjoy it to the fullest...=)
