un-positive sounding blahs

I forgot my password again and ended up typing in a few different passwords and crossing my fingers that each one was right.. lols!!!

Nowadays ther's so many stories of corruption taking place in goverment offices, police stations and places where these things should never happen.. Stories of people wanting to kick every other ethnic group out of the country, unsolved cases, stories of people blaming people of a certain faith for the thises and thats, crusades, conspiracies to take over the country and such things...

How twisted men can be.

The people and institutions you look to to save your ass or at least protect it when the bad guys come at you and to govern you and everybody else, and make laws are failing. They are run by men, after all. And all sons of Adam and daughters of Eve have fallen(yea so very Narnia. lol).

What can we do??

Well, we can either turn bad ourselves, badder than the bad guys and try to somehow, come up on top of a system that wants to keep you down using connections, underground methods and other naughty, naughty ways. Throw a stone and duck.

We could just lie down and let people walk all over us. Complain about it to our friends with doomsay tones and black looks on our faces during mamak sessions and free time. Read the papers, the on-9 news with sinking feelings in our hearts and the sides of our mouths turned down. Else with a sneer on our faces.

We could plow on against the current, fighting for every inch gained and gritting our teeth against every other lost.

We can run away, pack up and leave, to another place that might treat us better. Try to make our fortunes and build our empires there.

We can pretend ther's nothing going on and everything's rosy.

I have seen people who do all these things.

Is there hope for the people yet? One can only hope. And pray to God. The highest institution of appeal. The herbs in a bed of thorns can hardly do anything.
